Samajbhittik Protibondhi o Shishu Surakkha Sangstha (CBDCPO) is a dedicated rights-based organization committed to the empowerment and development of persons with disabilities and children in Sylhet Division, Bangladesh. As a proud member of Bangladesh DPO Coalition (BDC), the organization plays a significant role in advancing the disability movement by coordinating with district-level DPOs and OPDs across Sylhet Division.

CBDCPO implements projects entrusted by the Bangladesh DPO Coalition (BDC), ensuring that persons with disabilities are empowered, socially included, and protected through active collaboration with grassroots organizations.

Vision
An inclusive society in Sylhet Division where persons with disabilities and children enjoy equal rights, dignity, and opportunities, contributing as active members of their communities.

Mission
To safeguard and promote the rights of persons with disabilities and children through advocacy, inclusive education, health services, livelihood development, and community participation, in line with BDC’s national disability agenda.

Geographical Coverage
CBDCPO works directly with persons with disabilities across Sylhet Division, implementing projects in collaboration with local DPOs and OPDs in the following districts:

• Sylhet
• Sunamganj
• Moulvibazar
• Habiganj

Scope of Work and Impact

• Rights Protection: Safeguarding the rights of persons with disabilities and children in collaboration with local and national stakeholders.
• Inclusive Education: Promoting access to education for children with disabilities.
• Health & Rehabilitation: Ensuring health care access, rehabilitation services, and assistive devices.
• Livelihood & Skills Development: Creating opportunities for sustainable income and economic empowerment.
• Social Inclusion: Encouraging active participation of persons with disabilities in social and cultural activities.
• Women & Children Empowerment: Prioritizing vulnerable groups for leadership and protection programs.
